Won’t leave my door unlocked now.
The lock has a nice look and feels like it has some weight to it. I installed it in a door that had a previous deadbolt but there are templates if you have to drill. Key-less entry lock is not something I have ever installed but the instructions were clear and the installation was straight forward. In the beginning very similar to any other dead bolt. Once you connect the inside plate (and the wire to the plug and tuck it back in) your done with that. I made sure when using the lock manually it worked smoothly. Installed the batteries and it’s up and running. It is possible to use this without the app but as I found out it is so much easier with the app. I downloaded the app and after the sign in I had my phone with Bluetooth on very close to the lock, it started talking and was recognized. Per the instructions once it is paired the default PW needs changed. If you don’t read all the instructions you may wonder why the PW wasn’t working ( that may have happened to me). Reset the PW and follow the app to set your codes. It won’t let you set a already used code unless it is cleared. The lock can store up to 300 passwords which is way more than I will use but maybe for a business application? The finger print option is nice, east to set up and worked fine. Just another option to open the door without the key or your phone. If you have your phone the app is a quick swipe to open or lock even from a distance. I use that from my garage. The Bluetooth range wasn’t too bad I would say 35 – 40 feet. At least it was for me. I tried both keys no issues there. We have a bad habit of not always locking this door so I setup the auto lock and it works great. I set it to 5 min but It can be set less or up to 30 min. I also noticed if you are leaving and don’t want to wait for the auto lock you can press the lock button on the keypad to lock it immediately.I like this lock and it is working well for me. For the price and piece of mind of knowing the door won’t be left unlocked – well worth it.

How to setup WiFi Tuya Camera Lock
Great product – but how to connect WiFi is tricky. Here is how.1) Go to tuya app2) Plus, manually find product3) CHANGE QR CODE TO WIFI MODE – in upper right4) Go to lock, network settings, intelligent connection (NOT hot spot)5) Go to phone wifi, connect to ‘smart-xxx’6) DoneNOTES : The door lock will only let you pair every 10 minutes. It looks like it is pairing, but it is not. If you don’t see it in the phone WiFi, then it is not working (try again in 10 minute). When doing ‘intellegent connection’ – it takes 30 sec to show up on phone – you MUST click it fast – it then has another 30 sec to finish before the lock resets… sometimes it’s too slow, wait 10 mins and try again.I use DECO mesh 2.4 / 5 / 6 without issues.I moved the router very close, but this is not necessary. Once connected – it has a range of 50 to 100 feet. I have concrete walls and metal doors, so my router is 50 feet away no more. You can not activate the camera via the phone – if you could, the battery would die instantly. Once you put in a new code via the app, it will update AFTER the next person opens the door. The ‘doorbell’ camera works great, and has an anti-spam feature.I really like this product 🙂 the WiFi is the hardest part lol. But you only do it once.

There is a tiny hole below the lock for USB C charging.• Auto Lock/Unlock with Voice Announcement: the lock will announce the state of the locking system. The auto-lock feature gives peace of mind, ensuring the door isn’t accidentally left unlocked.Everyday Use:Day-to-day operation feels smooth, whether using fingerprints, codes, or app access.
