Did not work with my Grandstream 2602 phone – Updated
I have used Wantek headsets in the past on other phones and they are adequate for my needs and have always worked with my other phones. But, I recently changed phones in my office and needed headsets that were compatible. I found a Q and A on Amazon about this headset specifically stating that this Wantek headset works with the Grandstream GRP2602P phone.The headset was for a decent price and looked like the other Wanteks that I have used in the past. But, it did not work at all with my 2602P phone even though I tried all 3 of the included adapters that came with the headset.I suspect that this is a decent headset for other phones but it just did not work for me so it is going back to Amazon.UPDATE: After seeing my initial review, a representative from the seller contacted me and confirmed that the headset does work with the Grandstream 2602P phone. Since I had already returned the headset, the seller offered to send me a replacement at no charge. I was still skeptical that the headset would actually work with my phone but I agreed to accept the free replacement and to investigate further.The replacement arrived and I discovered that my “new” 2602P phone had old firmware installed. After working with my phone system provider I got the new firmware installed and adjusted a setting on the phone for headset type to “Normal”. The headset then worked perfectly. So, I give this a revised 5-star rating and also left positive feedback for the seller. As I mentioned initially, I have had good luck with Wantek headsets and now I am convinced that they are a great value. The sound quality it good.Second Update: So I have used the headset on 2 phone (both Grandstream 2602P on Ooma Office) successfully for a year now. Both continue to funtion well. However, the ear pads are starting to deteriorate a great deal. One is so bad that the pad will not even stay attached to the phone. I will have to either find replacement earpads or buy a replacement headset. As a result of this unacceptable problem, I have removed a star event though the headsets work well, one is not really useable due to the ear pad problem.

This headset is well made and it has great sound quality, the mute button and volume control are easy to use and we’ll placed. The slightly padded ear pieces swivel which makes it comfortable to wear all day.I am so glad I made the right choice about the headset that I will be wearing daily because it is very important for my work.I had questions about the headset and when I reached out to customer service department they were extremely helpful. Awesome product, terrific customer service. I would buy again!!🏆

It will not work with my desk phone.
While this headset did not work on my work phone, the seller did send me one that did work. It needed an adapter and they were kind enough to send it to me for free. Customer service was the best ever. They are serious about pleasing their customers.

This works perfect for work.

Broken after 3 months. The wire connection near the headset is broken. Sound cuts off. Still under warranty but the seller did not reply
