For such a reasonable price, this wave keyboard is impressive. I wasn’t sure I’d adapt to this after using a flat board for so many years, but it’s surprisingly easy to get used to. You have to give yourself a few days, so be patient, but the comfort of typing at an angle that is natural to your finger position is well worth it. The keys have a good touch response, and the attached wrist rest is a plus. The mouse — I’ve never seen a truly ergonomic mouse that is so well designed. It’s curved and angled to fit the natural curve of your hand, so using it is comfortable and feels effortless. It connected quickly to my MacBook without any issues. And even better, it’s purple!

Mostly as expected, but there was cracked plastic in the mouse casing
For the most part, this set was exactly what was expected. As a basic ergonomic keyboard and mouse set, it looks nice, is easy to use, and operates exceptionally. The one issue I had was with a crack in the plastic of the mouse casing.As can be seen in my pictures, the knob that holds the mouse battery lid shut was bent down and cracked. I don’t recall the lid being loose when I first opened it, so my guess is that this happened the first time I tried to close it. To be clear, I didn’t use any excessive force when opening or closing this, having slid it the expected fashion as I’ve done on many, many products with a similar design.Though cracked, it wasn’t completely broken, meaning I was able to bend the knob back up and get it into a working position. I’m not sure what that will mean for it in the long term, but I suppose if it breaks altogether, I can see if super glue will do the trick.Otherwise, the mouse is my favorite part of the set. It’s a standard size desktop mouse, but larger than the laptop style ones I’ve been using, and it fits my medium sized hand just perfectly. It has a metal track wheel which is something I’ve never tried before but ultimately found to make no significant difference. It feels fine on the finger and is perfectly responsive. The mouse also has side buttons and an extra top button, as many seem to have these days for gamers. I’ve never used these before and find them unnecessary, but obviously not a problem in any way.The keyboard seems pretty standard in design for ergonomic style. I actually prefer split key designs, but I think most people knowing what they are getting will be perfectly happy with this. The back bottom of the keyboard has fold out stands at two different sizes, though I’m personally not sure why anyone going for an ergonomic approach would ever want to mess up the angle in this way. The keys are very responsive and reasonably quiet, which seems to be an issue for some but not me.Both the keyboard and mouse operate off of AAA batteries. I think I prefer rechargeable batteries anymore in products like this, but that’s fine overall. Alkaline batteries have been standards for years and years and are easy enough to change out when needed. I haven’t had this long enough to report on battery life, but my assumption is that they will last for the expected, reasonable amount of time.Both keyboard and mouse operate off of one USB plug, which can be looked at as both good and bad. Obviously, this saves a port from having separate USB’s, but at the same time it means this truly is a set and no real flexibility for separating them if ever needed for some reason. I say that based on past experience with combo sets like this. Anyways, the plug and play aspect of this design is legitimate, and it couldn’t be easier to start using the set.This set is a white/off-white, which I do like for something different from the usual black. I’m sure long term it will probably show more grime and dust than other colors, but if you choose a style like this you sort of know what you are getting into. Anyways, it goes nice with my monitors, which have a similar shade for the base.Overall, I’m happy with the set and would say it was as expected, except of course for the issue with the mouse battery cover. But I’m assuming that was a rare fluke with the particular one that I received, as it doesn’t seem any other reviewers have reported a similar flaw. I’d say $40 is a pretty standard price for a combo set like this.
