I love it. Very easy to fly it straight out of the box. it is very light and small compared to my Inspire 1 so a lot easier to carry around. It has the same camera as the Inspire 1 and it seems to do its IMU update/calibration automatically so will not let you fly till the IMU is complete. flies amazingly well in quite strong gusty winds such as 40 kilometer winds. I always fly it off the beach (as i live on a sail boat) and found the best way to land it is to get it to hover near you and to get hold of it by one of its landing legs rather than land it on the beach where it has an easy tendency to fall over because of the wind. The Inspire 1 is a lot steadier on landing and taking off as its legs are spread further apart. The camera is amazing shooting at 4 K the video quality is superb and steady and one can take a very nice quality photo straight from the video.An amazing piece of technology and well worth the money.

Good deal on a complete kit
This is the best deal of a package to get flying with the Phantom 4. There are other packages that have different numbers of things but the items included here for my experience flying this drone was exactly what I use. While one battery is charging, the other can be used to fly the drone. When they deplete, the charging battery is about ready to go. The 64gb memory cards are excellent as they are the fastest available today. I cycle the memory cards to a computer so that when one is used to transfer to the computer, the other is inside the drone. After transfer to a computer, the memory card is cleared for another run. The drone arrived earlier than expected and I’m very happy with it. The system does have a 2 times digital zoom that is available in 2.7k video mode.If you’re looking for a grown up toy or to shoot steady video or take pictures from higher up, this is it.

I am returning the product to Amazon for a refund.It did not work at all. I couldn’t even get the drone motors to turn on.I watched all the videos and tried everything I could think of, but no joy.I spent 30 minutes on the phone with their support people. They were incompetent and useless.One wanted me to wait a few minutes while he read the manual. Another asked if I would mind watching a video instead of receiving help from him.This is a big disappointment. The drone looks great on paper, and I would have a lot of fun flying it if it worked.

Love the drone and extra batteries. I think some of the other itmes in this kit are just cheap and not really worth it. It’s an upsell for which I wouldn’t recommend.

This is the bomb… If you’re thinking about drones and you’re looking at this something in this price range you won’t be disappointed if you just go ahead and pull the trigger. The technology is always changing and I know DJI is coming out with some new stuff that’s more portable (Mavic comes to mind) but this thing is a pleasure to fly and yields great images. I tend to fly manually because I’m a bit of a control freak but even if you’re a beginner, this thing will practically fly itself if you want it to. If you’re into traveling light and you want something to take mountain biking and/or backpacking then it’s not the most portable option but for what I do, carrying it around in the styrofoam case it comes in works just fine.

Opened the Phantom 4 on Christmas morning and was very excited until the charger that came with the package didn’t work. The batteries would not charge. I have ordered a charger and will see how the drone works in a couple of days. Amazon did credit me the amount of the new charger so that is a plus for Amazon.
