    Worth It
By far the best Bluetooth speaker I’ve had under $200. Easy to set up, app support, very loud for it’s size, clear sounding with accurate bass. The thing to understand is, if you get it off Amazon, there are very little employees that are worried with your product. Any order really. So it’s not Ultimate Ears making a mistake it’s Amazon if something is faulty.

    I would recommend!
I love the Boom speaker. My Boom 3 was super tough, waterproof, and even survived my son leaving it on a car hood and it flying off at 60 mph. It didn’t survive a semi running it over though. But hey, that’s how I got my Boom 4! I totally love it! It’s loud, has surround sound, is waterproof, and the battery lasts forever.

Very good speakers with good bass.
These speakers are very nice and played individually they work great! Super sound including good bass. Unfortunately when we tried to group several (four) together using the UE Boom app on IOS, the bluetooth was breaking up and they would not play “smoothly”. Individually, the bluetooth range is very good. But it deteriorates when playing multiple speakers simultaneously.

    Megaboom and Then Some!
Wow! This thing really rocks. I’ve been looking for a speaker with serious bass and this one is really it. Mellow sound and good vibrations. Simple to use. You have to download a program to use it on your phone. Not sure if it’s really necessary, but it does have some features on there that could make it easier to use. I plugged it in right away and hooked it up for awesome sounds. Excellent quality right out of the box. 100% if you’re looking for something. About the size of a Stanley mug.

Volume randomly goes to zero or 100 and lipsync issues ruin video
How can I give anything other than one star to a speaker that randomly and regularly fluctuates from my setting of 50 in volume to zero or even 100 numerous times every day?I’ll be across the room, and the video I was listening to goes silent. Or I’ll have these on tables on my bed 2 feet from my ears, and, suddenly, the volume is SCREAMING AT ME when I go to start a video because the volume crept up on its own volition.Take notice, Ultimate Ears team: I reached out to you by chat, and your simpleton AI robot ended the chat on me not once but twice because your team was too understaffed or too lazy to help me. I wish Ultimate Ears weren’t owned by Logitech, which has caused me to contact support for ALL FOUR speakers I’ve ever purchased except for the THIRD Z906 speaker set I owned for a minute while kept sealed before I sold it so I didn’t have to deal with more problems. Yep, Logitech had to replace that piece of junk two times, with the final one getting shipped to me because my second set died on the last day of warranty coverage.Although the Megaboom 4 speakers sound good, this volume issue has destroyed my experience. I know the problem rests with the speakers and not my iPad Mini because the latter never had any issue with any of the roughly five other Bluetooth speakers I’ve used before.Additionally, Megaboom 4 speakers, when used as a stereo pair, have a lot of lipsync issues. Audio is clearly behind video, especially when using with a Hisense M2 Pro projector. If you can find Tribit Stormbox Pro speakers, get them instead.

    Great for many uses!
Love this speaker!!!Great sounds. Love how it connects to my husband older version of the speaker . Multiple speakers in a room gives you surround sound. Great for connecting your phone to, to hear music while cleaning, doing yard work, partying, working in the garage.

Battery doesn’t last long as expected between charges
Sound quality is good but the battery doesn’t last long when you play it loud

  8. CAN

    Love it!
Love this speaker! Have a Gen 3 and loved it too, plus a Gen 3 Boom, and they all sync and sound great. The Gen 4 is a step up, with type-C charging that is great since no one uses micro-usb anymore (one less cable).

This is my opinion, and my view of Megaboom4. Opinions are BS, no one is obliged to personally take them. I read comments about how bad they are, specially if you pair more than one speaker in party mode. I also watched YouTube videos where the reviews are based on only one speaker, but so far mostly I’ve seen are megabomm3 reviews for some reason. When using one speaker, for me, the sound was good, but not so great. Sometimes I had minor, almost fainted chirping distorted sounds coming out the one speaker. The fix was restarting my phone. Then, I bought a seccond megaboom4 speaker.Adding a second Megaboom4 to the Firts Megaboom4 speaker, well, at first they sounded terrible, and it just confirmed what some youtube reviews where there claiming that the speakers can’t pair properly. I heard in YouTube that the songs when played they keep skeeping the music back and forth, and that isinterrupts the songs badly. Yes, this is true, and the chirping static sound was worse with two of the speaker playing at the same time. I was like.. hmm,, yeah. They are bad, but was it worth buying them? So, I was disappointed, but i decided to turn off the speakers, and I restarted my cellphone..and then,, there you have it. Cristal clear sound, in double mod and even in stereo mod. They sound amazing both together, and my bet is that the more speaker you add they will sound better. If you plaxe yiurself in beween them speakers, the base is strong and powerful, and the tones and frequencies of the song played sound great to my ears, but this is my opinion. So, there you have it. No issues with blue tooth when pairing more than one megaboom4, and as for the chirping sound some youtubers and reviewing people talk about? Well, that’s B$..*&^%.. don’t belive them coz I don’t belive them, and I am so grateful I didn’t belive them. I recommend the Megaboom4, I paid 199$ plus tax Canadian dollars for each Megaboom4, but so what? They are a great traveling pair of Megaboom4 speakers for me.

    Sounds great
