Fantastic – easy install, durable, simple design, easy to use, great price
This is great! I’m super impressed that it’s so sturdy, easy to use, and easy to install for a great price. I’ve never installed a lock before, but I’m stubborn and like to figure things out myself, so I sat down at my door with hope in my heart and the manual in my hand, and got it done. Zero problems (other than a user-error thing where I put something in backwards, but that’s my fault). I’m genuinely surprised at how easy the install was. I’ve had it installed since early May, and we haven’t had a single issue with it. I haven’t tried setting one-time-use passcodes or secondary passcodes yet, so I can’t speak to that. I do love, though, that you can put any amount of digits before and/or after your code to throw off any potential onlookers, and the door will still open. I also like that you can set how long you want the period between when you unlock and when it auto-locks to be.It bolts very well – I don’t have any concerns that someone might be able to kick it in easily or anything. You can’t lock/unlock from the inside, but I can’t think of an instance where that would matter anyway, since I have it set to auto-lock after a minute and a half, and the inside handle doesn’t lock (only the outside handle).I like that it came with a key – I’m always paranoid that the batteries will die without warning (though apparently it warns you with quite a bit of advanced notice), so it’s reassuring to have the key on my keychain anyway. just in case.There’s no fingerprint recognition, which is honestly fine by me, I feel like I’d just get frustrated having to perfectly align my thumb every time. There’s also no wifi to lock/unlock remotely or generate new passcodes on the go, but I’m alright with that for this price. Plus, I kind of worry about wifi connections making the lock easier to hack, but I also don’t know what I’m talking about in that regard lol.

Working well so far and seems solid. Installed in access door between garage and house. Needed to slightly increase size of strikeplate hole during installation with chisel. All programming works if you follow instructions. We chose for manual lock setting so we wouldn’t constantly have to enter code to get into house. From the inside, the only way to lock the door, which we do only at night, is to open door and manually lock it from the outside keypad. Because of this, there is no visual clue from the inside whether door is locked or not from the outside. A little inconvenient but we can live with it. Cost was less than half of comparable Schlage or Kwik set let. Time will tell if this was wise purchase or not.

I installed this keypad door lock in the bedroom for tenants. It’s quite easy to install by myself. Unlocking with a digital code is convenient, and it locks automatically when leaving. It responds sensitively, and the tenants think it’s good.

My disabled mother needed a more convenient door lock for herself, multiple caregivers, me and my siblings, and her landlord. Not only is this easy to use but the color of the lights easy for my mom to tell when she input the code correctly but when she presses each number the lights give her feedback that the number she pressed was registered. I get to give my mom her own passcode and everybody else their own passcodes. So I can delete or change a passcode accordingly. This lock is definitely worth it for the price and locking mechanism makes my mom feel safe in her own home. It was also incredibly easy to install. 🙂

I like the lock but I don’t like that you can’t see the numbers during the day without making it light up. The buttons are all black and I have old eyes! I forgot to take a picture. Lock is installed on our cottage shed
