A Year Later and Still Great!
While doing some slight remodeling in my Master Bedroom, until I can bring my 65” Sony upstairs, I needed something to replace my plasma flatscreen I’d had well over 10yrs. It was the last of the LIGHTWEIGHT plasmas, and after doing some work on it to get it working, as I began lifting it upright to fit into its stand, I heard a cracking sound. The INNER screen cracked, although no plasma leaked through. Obviously, I was never plugging it back in. I was in a pinch, but didn’t want to spend on something that was a temporary fix. All the other bedrooms have their own televisions, and I can always resell this Roku TV. (My work involves reviews and content consults)The picture quality is much better than expected, and all my additional apps work seamlessly. My cable is also connected as is a Blu-Ray player, and everything works well. The sound is actually impressive, especially for under $200. The photos attached show it somewhat angled, only because it’s on my dresser next to the bed. The 65” that’s waiting for everything to be completed will go where I had the plasma flatscreen, which is 30’ from my headboard, where this Roku would obviously been too small.1. Great value2. Remote works, but do go through 2 AAA batteries about every 6 weeks.3. Can also be controlled by your Cable remote.4. Surprisingly good sound quality.5. Picture quality is crisp, and keeps up with movies, and media. No buffering issues.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This was so easy to hook up, it almost installed itself on my wifi. It has great picture and sound quality. It’s the perfect size for my bedroom. I like the ability to turn the picture off because I use it for nature/white noise at night to block outside noise. Most white noise programs have black screen but still shows a small amount of light when everything else is off so the ability to turn the picture off is perfect.

Bought this 32”HD Roku to replace an 11 year old Roku for my bedroom. I am very happy with the sound and picture quality, and I was already familiar with the Roku platform so it was simple to set up and easy to use. Remote is basic and functional. I did not like the two base feet attachments at all. Very difficult to screw in and still remains a bit wobbly. The older Roku I replaced had a center stand that was far sturdier and better looking. This cut corner was one I wish Roku hadn’t made. Overall a very good TV for the price point, as I got it on sale for $20 less than the standard price.

Initial Impressions 32″
I only give it 4 stars because it’s a basic smart TV (aka, not OLED, or some other high end TV). Size upgrade from a 24″ to the 32″ for the bedroom. The 24″ was a Samsung with Roku device attached. which I liked. I also have a 55″ TCL Roku TV. Very familiar with Roku and I like the interface. With Roku built into the TV, and if you have an antenna, the option to select antenna is built into the choices of on screen inputs. Makes it easy.This particular TV is fine. Nothing special over and above the other TV’s I have. It’s only 720P, but fine for a bedroom, etc. Picture is very good, and sound is fine (but obviously can be much better with a sound bar). One review mentioned that the plastic used to protect the bezel during shipping is hard to get off. They weren’t wrong. Not that hard, but a bit of a pain. Why they don’t make it easier to remove the plastic is beyond me. Getting nit picky with negatives, because it’s not that big a deal, and there’s really nothing else to complain about. Overall, a good quality TV at a good price. Recommended…Edit 2/16/24: Upping rating from 4 to 5 stars due to great customer service. Had an issue with the remote where the original batteries lasted about 3 days. Replaced the batteries with new, and same thing. * This is a known random issue with Roku remotes. I have 2 other Roku remotes that do not do this. Called Roku support. First call: Reset and re-pair the remote to see if it helps. Same issue. Called back day 2 and they said they would send me a new remote. New remote received in 2-3 days. Works as it should (no high battery drain). Roku support answered the phone within seconds and were very pleasant (“off-shore”). They even called back the next day to see if the issue was taken care of to me satisfaction. Kudos to Roku support….

Had one annoying problem but its solved
Always liked Roku and needed one so I bought this one. Came in great condition. Easily put together and set up. This IS full hd and not 4k so don’t expect that. But its good enough. Its pretty light and can connect well to my pc too.

SO EASY TO SET UP, ITS SCARY
* Roku Smart TV 2025 – 32-Inch Select Series, 1080p Full HD TV – Roku TV with Voice Remote – Flat Screen LED TV *I’m super-impressed with this TV right out of the box. My previous TV (32″ Phillips Roku) quit after 2 years and this was on sale, with good reviews… so I pulled the trigger. I’m not techy, so I expected all kinds of issues putting it together and setting it up. Wrong! I put the legs on, plugged it in and followed the 3-4 directions on the screen. BAM! Instant streaming through Spectrum, which remembered all my settings from the previous TV. The picture quality difference between 720 and 1080 is amazing, with no lag. Even the remote reacts much faster than the old one. I’m extremely impressed with the design and all the features… but TOTALLY shocked by how easy it was to set up. Whew! Durability will be determined at some point in the future. Highly, highly recommend this unit!4-MONTH UPDATE: This unit is operating extremely well. It’s been great. 5-stars +++.
