Works great! Use the included charging cubes and not anything stronger than 5V 2A
Works great, better than expected. Such a relief to have this. We have the speaker plugged in next to the sofa (with the base next to the tv), because I know I won’t remember to charge the speaker. I had to order 10ft usb to usbc cords in order to reach outletsTldr below: follow simple instructions. Use the charging blocks provided and ONLY those charging blocksThe reviews for this product are all over the place, with most people saying it’s great and others saying it died suddenly. No one has talked about what they used to charge the base and speaker before it died, but if people did not use the enclosed cubes as instructed, they may have unintentionally bricked the speaker.This is a known result in the game emulator world, where we have to use old iphone cubes because the gaming devices cannot handle modern charging blocks. Honestly I probably would not have thought twice about using my fast charger on this speaker if I wasnt into gaming devices that have very specific instructions on what you can charge them with (and severe penalties for disregarding the instructions)For this product, my brain registered a potential reason people experienced the speaker suddenly dying when I saw the speaker is actually *marked* 5V 2A under the USB-C port. Then I looked at the instructions, and they say, without elaboration, to use the enclosed charging blocks (which are 5V 2A). This seemingly benign info means using chargers stronger than 5V 2A could damage the device. Most regular chargers nowadays supply way more than 5V; fast chargers can be 100V or more. A product marked 5V has no chance against a fast charger.Should the instructions say this? Maybe yes maybe no. The instructions have the specs listed, are clear about exclusively using the included chargers, and have no language saying use usb-c devices in general. I think we all need to take this at face value, so we don’t brick the speakersIf my speaker ups and dies despite following the instructions, I will update this review

So nice to not have to blast my TV to understand people on the TV. The volume on the device goes much louder than expected. The item is very light and handle makes it ease to carry. Hope to be happy with the item for a long time as some people reported the battery life is short.

Super easy to set up. Truly just plug & Play! I really appreciated that included was a power cable for the base unit and a power cable for the remote speaker so I don’t need to charge on the base but like that it was an option. Also included are multiple options to connect to the volume out from the TV. I have a room mate on the opposite wall from where my TV is and the TV noise from my room was bothering them. This was the perfect solution as I can put the speaker on the opposite side of my room where my head is thus no more TV sound next to the shared wall and makes it super easy to adjust the volume so I can hear the TV @ the volume comfortable for me. Great speaker sound as well.

I bought this item for my bedroom and it works great, I am now able to watch television with the whole house hearing my movies, however I bought one for my family room and I had to return it as it kept cutting out. I returned it and got a new one but it did the same thing, thinking it might be that one television I brought the one from my bedroom and used it in the family room, still working great. So I have returned 2 of this same product but I like the one in my bedroom so much I am trying this again, so a 5 star rating for one and a zero star rating for the other 2, I sure hope the next one I get works!As of December 2024 neither of the speakers work, they both started to cut in and out all the time, then nothing. The first one I bought worked for a full six months and then died completely. The second one only worked for about 6 weeks and then it would come and go, when I first turned it on it would work for about 1 hour an then stop. You might want to skip this item and look elsewhere

It has helped a lot with clarifying words and being able to set the volume separately from the TV – – yes the unit volume is unique to the TV’s. This really helps in an open concept house where noise carries thru all the rooms. Now my wife can listen to TV at her volume, and I can do what I need to hear. I use ear buds when we are both watching.The one thing that I find a bit annoying when listening without the buds is that the sound produces a bit of an echo.The battles over “to loud” or each of us turning up our sound due to the other, have ended…..thank God!
It has several hookup devices that are provided with speaker.
It is small and easy to pick up and carry. I had to connect it thru earphone outlet on TV, which cut the TV sound off. It is clear and I feel it is of good quality. Volume control works well. For me using it thru earphone outlet was an easy setup. I am using it in my bedroom.

This tv speaker works very well for a senior that has to have the tv volume up loud. I set this up for my mother and it works wonders. It sets on her night stand next to her bed and she can hear it better. No more volume coming from the tv itself only through the speaker on her nightstand. Would highly recommend this speaker for anyone who has to have the tv volume up loud that blows everyone out of the room.

Easy to set up and works GREAT!!! The only issue was that the tv was an older plasma and had limited outputs. I needed to get an inexpensive line splitter to connect the device, but Amazon had the splitter here in one day – so no problem. This will prevent my wife from cranking the sound up on her TV when she is in her bathroom doing her hair, etc….. This will save me a lot of grief and will prevent a lot of disputes!!! This product does what the manufacturer claims, and does it WELL!!!
