13 reviews for Power Supply 550W 80+ Bronze Certified PSU (ARESGAME, AGW550)
great for my pc actual components and for my future components
great PSU, so far im not having problems. this one provides the energy needed and behaves smooth. very reliable and cheaper that other psu I saw. For me that I have a intel i5 14gen RTX 3060TI and 2 ram slots, this one fits great any way I always recommend to use a psu calculator website before buying
A nice power supply
I bought this with the intention of building a mid range computer but had a change of mind. I like the build and how it looks. It came with much of what I needed in terms of cables.
This PSU is quiet and works well.
I bought this (6 months ago as of this writing) because I upgraded my video card and needed more power than the 300 watt unit my PC came with. This was installed without issue in my HP Envy tower The screw holes were aligned properly and it was seated and secured easily. I got the AGW600 80+ Bronze, which was more than I needed by a good margin. It has been working well for a while and I expect it to last a long time.It is a budget brand when compared to high-end name brands like Corsair and others. I wouldn’t suggest pushing it to the max. Buy a unit rated for 100 watts or more than you need and you shouldn’t stress the components to the max and risk failure under max load. It will still be less expensive than buying a gold-rated power supply by far.The power rating isn’t how much power it uses at all times. It is a rating for how much it can provide when needed. Much like a 300 horsepower engine only generates that power at the maximum. I also plug my PC into a small UPS (like a CyberPower CP900AVR) to protect from surges and other power variations. It is worth protecting your PC investment.*UPDATE* – (10/13/22) Closing in on a year of use and I have had no issues with this power supply. It has been a solid performer and is still nice and quiet. I am still happy with this purchase.*UPDATE* – (05/19/23) Well over a year and still no issues at all. I’ve blown the dust out a couple times with compressed air but that is all. I would buy again, but likely 650+ watt unit due to the new generation of power hungry video cards.*UPDATE* – (04/29/24) Still going strong and having no issues. All things considered though, I would likely go for a 750w unit nowadays as the GPU power needs are increasing and so are CPU. Check the recommended minimum PSU rating for you video card when buying and make sure you are well covered. I’d aim for 100 watts over recommended, and don’t forget the rest of your system needs.
5 year warranty 80 plus bronze and it works
I bought the 600w arrived in 6 days thru ups. As far as the performance goes the psu works but I only used the tester which comes with the psu and also comes 3 ish ties for cable managements and manual and screws of course. I haven’t tested it on a motherboard or full pc because I’m waiting on the motherboard which I bought and should arrive in few days. And will give a additional review after full build but I do recommend build quality and warranty is good 5 year warranty and 80 plus bronze should be enough for a gaming build for ur some good gaming. I recommend.

La recibí perfectamente embalado. La compré con alguna reserva por las críticas que vi en diferentes sitios pero quedé sorprendido. Funciona de maravilla y es mas silenciosa que la que tenía antes. Viene con probador y con certificado de garantía de 5 años.
Its a semi modular power supply and fits my old dell xps 8700. Tprice to quality is unbeatable and works fine. It is just a bit slow to power. Comes equip with a lot of wires and a test kit. Follow the test kit before installing to make sure it works. Otherwise there are a lot of wires coming out of the psu that i dont need 3 cpu wires when i need one also 2 sata with a molex would have preferred no molex and 3 sata. Now i had to install the modular cables one pack pcie express of 3 wires 6+2 and a 3 sata wire just for the cd drive if they had 3 sata out of the psu it would have been less cramped. If you have the money i reccomend full modular if you have a small atx tower like me.
Arrived exactly as described, although a day late. Unexpectedly included a PSU tester to make sure the unit was in working order was a nice touch. Semi modular made cable management a breeze. It replaced a very old PSU on my old LGA1155 mainboard. Runs very quiet and cool.
You get exactly what they say is in the box. its the right size. Cable ties and even an inspection tool provided! And it works perfectly fine! Worth the price!
Tested with the tester cable provided with the PSU. The fan spun but turned off quickly. Dummy me tried to install it anyways and sure enough it didn’t work. Plugged my old PSU back in and it worked fine.Just needed a second PSU for testing without having to uninstall my main PSU. Serves me right for going with the cheapest option.

Reliable, hasn’t spontaneously combusted yet.
It’s been almost 2 years and my PC still hasn’t blown up, so I guess it’s all good. No complaints.
