Easiest way to view inside your garage remotely!
One of the easiest tech to install ever. I already had a wifi garage door opener and MyQ app so it was so easy and quick I thought I skipped a step or two. Had a spare outlet by main garage door opener on ceiling and magnetic mount is super strong (see pics). No worry about camera falling off. Even if you route the plug one way so camera is upside down (like mine), there is a setting to flip the camera view 180 degrees. The green dot and MyQ logo is normally on top. Mine in picture is on bottom so had to reverse image. The sensitivity is adjustable but even on a low setting (lower 25%) it can see people and dogs walking on the sidewalk at end of the 30 ft driveway so I modified the sensing area to get less notifications. This worked so well I purchased another camera for the 3rd bay and now can see 75% of my 3 car garage. The automatic nightime setting can see our cars and objects in the garage with no lights. You can choose to turn off notifications when the garage doors are closed which I finally ended up doing. We still come and go loading and unloading cars with garage doors closed until ready to leave so that is nice.Got the prime day deal with 50% off cameras and video storage plan. Storage plan was $99 per year but got it for $49 per year AND it covers ALL cameras current and future! That’s only $4 per month to store videos for up to 30 days. Even $8 per month for all camera video storage is a good deal I think.I did buy the optional bracket ($9?) thinking the 3rd bay camera would sit back further to get the area between far side of main garage and entire 3rd bay but the drywall covered ceiling beam has metal underneath and camera attached magnetically. Depending on what you want to cover, you may need the bracket to place camera further back to see more. The field of view is not 180 degrees but close enough and the outer edges curve some but the detail of the images and videos are excellent. The length of power cord is very generous and USB C adapter is included.BTW, if you don’t have a wifi garage door opener, you can purchase an add-on for around $50. If you get one compatible with the MyQ app, you can have Amazon deliver to inside your garage for those deliveries you don’t want to sit outside if expensive or when weather is questionable. I don’t like anything electronic to sit on front porch when it is at or below freezing. Also, you can open your garage doors from anywhere in the world such as when service people need to be let in when you’re not there or running late. You can also get a recording of when Amazon delivery person opens door and places item inside for extra peace of mind about deliveries that matter most.

Perfect for watching my dog at night
I use this camera to keep an eye on my mini poodle, especially when he wasn’t feeling well. The night vision is incredibly clear I can see every detail even in the dark. The app works perfectly and gives me peace of mind knowing he’s okay while I’m not in the room. Absolutely worth it!

Give it a fair try
Great camera for the price. First off, this is not your top notch, 4k camera with a Samsung Galaxy type picture resolution it’s more so iPhone picture quality. For the most basic safety needs, this camera does its part. Stop complaining about the subscription and quality and stop setting up Unreasonable expectations. I’ve had my camera in my garage since Jan. and it has worked great. It has had a few glitches but it’s technology. It’s stated the battery was low when it was plugged in . I unplugged it for a few seconds and it eventually went off.Go ahead and subscribe to Ring, ADT, Vivint or buy Ramsey’s SimplySafe he endorses for your security needs and still pay a fee to monitor with a contract. The camera has fairly good resolution and catches faces very well. It is great knowing when my child is walking in the house after being dropped off in front of the house from the bus that she sis safe: it makes me feel better.Give it a fair try and set real expectations. No I am not paid for this review… although the new outside camera would be a great addition. 😁

Great garage camera
Great camera, works really well and you dont have to subscribe to the myq service – but you lose the ability to record videos – you only get live videos. I have enough cameras throughout the house and outside that record that this is just nice to have to peek into my garage and see if the door is closed or see whats happening while I am away. Works really well, easy to install and the setup process is very fast with the myq app.

The definition of insanity!
I built an automotive shop in 2020 with three bay doors, each door has a Liftmaster opener that uses MyQ app and has worked flawlessly for the past four years. Black Friday 2024 rolls around and I buy Three MyQ Garage cameras for a decent price for added security when I’m away. I follow the steps to connect the cameras to the app, cameras pair to everything just fine during the process until I go to name the cameras and enter their location. (Why it needs a location entered is beyond me) and this message on all three cameras pops up; “ we apologize looks like we cannot update the name and location of your camera at this time, but it is in your device list. Please try to update name and location at a later time.” Light on cameras are solid green indicating a successful installation, however the cameras are no where to be found on my device list, so I reset the cameras and try again only to receive the same results. So after many attempts to reach someone from Chamberlain through an AI, I finally get a hold of a human that has me repeat all those processes over and over again (2hrs on the phone) just to get the same results. They even had my delete the app and reinstall it, reset my router, and they even told my I may need a laptop or an iPad to install it properly. All I have is an iPhone. When I try to scan the QR code on the actual camera in the MyQ app, I’m prompted with “we don’t recognize this QR code” At the end of this tech support call, nothing was fixed, tech support tells me they will escalate the issue to a supervisor and I should receive an email within 24-48 business hours, not days! What does that even mean? A full week? It’s been two days and have yet to receive an email with a solution. It just would have been nice to have one app I can connect my entire shop to was my thinking behind buying these cameras. I don’t think the cameras themselves are faulty. I just think the app is not working properly. And then reading other reviews on here it says that you need a five dollar monthly subscription for them to work? I had no idea about that. I can’t even get them to start working to begin with! You would think with everybody that’s paying five dollar monthly subscription that their tech-support and their app would work better! Thanks for nothing Chamberlain!

Excelente.

Excellent camera! Works great, notifies me as soon as someone comes near the door or approaches the driveway. Excellent for maintaining your home safe and to know who is at your door.
