I was a bit leary as these were refurbished. But they work great. Integrated easily into my existing Blink camera system. They were clean, well packed, all the parts were there, came with fresh lithium batteries and a new Blink hub which I did not expect.

No Gen4 in Gen3 mount
These cameras work well…as expected. What was unexpected, though, is that they do not fit into the mounts that hold the Gen3 cameras. These Gen4 cameras are deeper (thicker) than Gen3, so while they fit into the mounts, you cannot get the front frame piece to snap into place to hold the camera in the mount. So make sure you buy a new mount for the Gen4 camera. The part that mounts to the wall is the same, so you will not have to replace the entire mount…just the part that holds the camers.

Refurbished, yet like brand new.
Very happy with the refurbished cameras. They have very clear video. The side to side view is excellent. I do wish there was more vertical viewing.I am a bit disappointed that the app takes so long to load. By the time it comes up, whoever was at the door has given up and left. I have a cloud subscription and sometimes it’ll record the activity, but often will not. I am also disappointed that I am unable to set it up to work on my computer. It works great on my android, but there is no way to set it up to run on my Windows. It is supposed to work with Alexa, but as yet I am unable to get Alexa to recognize any commands I give it even though it shows to be connected and recognized. Being an Amazon product, I had hoped for better usability across the board and faster response times.

Security and Peace of mind.
I love these new cameras from Blink.I read reviews and don’t know what to think. These are the newest outdoor cameras they run on batteries. I had to use them inside due to the cold weather. They work great. I like them because if their is noise downstairs it shows it as a motion on my camera so I turn on the microphone so I can hear what’s going on. My son-in-law came in thorough the first level. He by passed the ring camera, but the blink cameras heard the noise before he was captured on the cameras. They pick up sounds like glass breaking, Slamming doors, if your dog starts barking or baby crying, people talking. Any sounds that breaks the silence. They have a good clear view..Day and night. The view range is a good wide range. We don’t have large outside areas so these cameras are perfect for what we need. Inside 3 level home so, yes we have cameras.Good night vision. We have a blink account going on 5 years and have had no issues with lag time so far. The problem we have had is more of an Internet problem. We are connected to the router, but not to the outside world. We were just told that our equipment is outdated. Spectrum is sending out new equipment. If you want to use the cameras inside facing outside you need get the reflective film for your window. This way the camera doesn’t pick up the reflection off the window. I always wait for the Amazon sale to buy my big items. The sales are amazing and money saving. The battery is suppose to be a 2year lasting. I bought these in February 2025. I will post when they read low then I will be able to give you an honest answer. My inside Blink cameras are 5 years old and work every well. Good night clear vision.I hope this was helpful. FYI: The microphone keeps up noise from a good distance. It sit up in the dining room area. Picks up sounds from the kitchen, living room and my son-in-law office. Even when he rolls his chair it picks it up and his voice when he is talking on the phone with the door close. It is muffled, but you hear it. Awesome!

Reconditioned Blink camera system works great
I love the Blink camera systems. I decided to add new cameras and decided to take a chance on these reconditioned ones.If the durability is as long as my other Blink cameras this purchase will be well worth the money. The cameras easily connected to my WiFi, which is Starlink.They are packaged well and everything is included, even the screws to attach the camera holders. Everything looks like new with no scuffs or scratches.So far, the batteries have worked well and I have not had to replace them.As always, the motion detection is great. I have never had any problems with that from Blink cameras.
