This lock made my home entry much easier.
I was hesitant about getting another smart gadget, but this product has genuinely streamlined things around my front door. The installation itself was surprisingly straightforward; I’m not the most mechanically inclined person, but the instructions were clear enough that I managed it without any major issues, and it feels excellent and secure on the door now. The variety of ways to get in is the biggest win for me. I’ve been using the fingerprint sensor a lot, especially when my hands are full, and it’s remarkably quick and accurate. It’s so much better than fumbling for keys. The keypad is also very handy, and I appreciate being able to set up different codes for when people need temporary access.What really gives me peace of mind is the auto-lock functionality. I often second-guess myself after leaving the house, wondering if I remembered to lock the deadbolt, but this product takes that worry away. It secures itself automatically, which is a simple feature that makes a big difference. The app integration works smoothly too. Being able to check the lock status remotely or even unlock it for someone if I’m not home has proven useful. The build quality feels robust, a good use of aluminum and stainless steel, and it looks quite modern without being flashy. The IP54 protection rating means I’m not too worried about it handling some weather, either. Overall, the functionality and the blend of security and convenience this product offers make it a worthwhile addition. EXCELLENT, affordable Wi-Fi lock with user friendly app and easy installation.
I needed a wi-fi lock for my rear patio door which leads to my backyard. I simply got tired of carrying keys with me whenever I went out into my backyard. After doing some searching and determining what my needs where from a functionality standpoint, I decided to get this particular lock as it was also on sale. Upon opening the box, I found that the contents were well-packed and the lock contained ample parts–including spares which was great as I lost a screw during installation and used a spare. I have other keypad entry locks around my home, but none were wi-fi enabled.Installation wasn’t difficult, though I did have to redo the installation because I mistakenly chose the wring length of screw. Overall, the installation should take about 20-30 minutes and all you need is a phillips head screwdriver. Also, download the app prior to installation. You can use either 4 or 8 batteries in the lock. I chose 8 so it will last longer before needing a change. The instructions on programming are very clear and the wifi and bluetooth setup were flawless. You will need to stand close to the lock upon initial setup.Programming your eight digit code and entering your fingerprint proved to be very simple and quick. The app is highly intuitive. I was up and running in no time. The lock looks great on the door and the numeric pad and fingerprint sensor are responsive. It even allows connection to Google Home or Alexa. All in all, the lock is a winner for the price point. No more carrying keys with me when I go out back–though the lock does come with a set of keys as well.

This lock works well, is easy to install and the fingerprint reader has been reliable so far. I have only had it for a few days so I can’t speak for longevity or even battery life. If I find my opinion deteriorating after time I will come back and update this review.It appears to be solid, not easily compromised and I have tested remote unlocking which was a requirement for this purchase. Integration with google assistant requires a google nest, which I don’t have so that option of unlocking isn’t available to me. I could use my Alexa device, but I have taken her offline for now, because she was always getting erroneously involved in conversations and even TV shows. I still give this lock 5 stars for it’s functionality, without being able to unlock by voice command since that is more my choice at this point.I am not really pleased with how it looks on the inside, not particularly attractive so I may look at painting it or covering with something. But it looks very good on the outside.
