    I’m impressed
I’ve used various SATA SSD cards from multiple brands. Honestly 8 have found nothing better using a Samsung, WD, or even this Gigastone. It’s budget friendly, end it chugs. I’ve put them in laptops to replace HDD and PS4 gaming consoles. If you’re reading around, or skeptical, I wouldn’t worry to much.

Gigastone Rugged NAS SSD 1TB SSD drive
Gigastone Rugged NAS SSD 1TB SSD hard drive is probably the best deal for a 1 TB SSD hard drive. It haves NAS network attached storage features but no software was included ( windows based features) but overall it’s a great deal and a must have for an upgraded or to add to your existing setup

Ahora lo utilizo como ssd extraible, y funciona de maravilla en mi Mac mini m4. Lo recomiendo

Insane performance difference and super easy to install
I honestly just needed the storage capacity and didn’t have my hopes up for any major performance increase… but my performance did increase… a lot. I transferred several steam games over to it from other solid state drives that were about 75% full and not rated as high-speed, and the difference was huge.

DON’T BUY! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. REFUSED TO HELP.
DON’T BUY!!! I amnow stuck with several drives I cannot use that I attempted to return through Amazon. I was advised to contact giga stone. I spent over a month communicating with GigaStone sending them screenshots logs and information. This was all simply a waste of time. Their customer support is horrible. Despite Amazon saying they would confirm the return of Gigastone would work with me they were unwilling. They kept making excuses and asking for information which we provided that was not even relative to the issue. They know the issue with the drives and will do nothing about it.

    Works as described.
The only issue when I was trying to clone my HDD to this SDD was the SDD was not formatted for GPT to MBR or vice a versa, can’t recall. So the cloning software would not do the process. Had to put SSD in another computer as a secondary and go into Disk mgmt and do this procedure. The cloning software will tell you what the SSD needs to be converted to if it needs it. This is just an example but do your research and choose the right format conversion. Example: How to initialize a disk drive using GPTClick Start, type diskmgmt.msc in the Start search box.Right-click diskmgmt.msc and click Run as Administrator.Note: When a non-initialized disk is detected by Windows, select the Disk, choose GPT (GUID Partition Table) and click OK.Verify that the disk status is Online, else right-click and select Initialize disk.If the disk is already initialized, right-click on the label on the left and click Convert to GPT Disk.Once the disk has been initialized, right-click the unallocated space and click New Simple Volume and follow the steps to complete the process. After getting this process done it was smooth sailing from there. This SSD is pretty fast and along with memory upgrade i have increased benchmarks by 150%. Good luck…..
