Best Smart Watch Value on Amazon
First, NO, the manufacturer did not compensate me for this review.I’ve been searching for a good value smart watch under $75 for several months now, and have a couple of reviews out there on products that didn’t make the cut. This watch was my latest try (and cheapest!). With one very minor exception, it passes every test. And at only $25+ (what I paid), its easily the best value of any product in this category for sale on Amazon.Setup — easy. Stays connected to your phone – All the time! Notifications — easy to read and reliable. App — easy to use and full of information (really like the “Trends”). Actual documentation!! User manual on Amazon. Watch faces: plentiful, and easily installed. Accuracy: equal two or better than any others I’ve tried over the past few months. Battery life: As Advertised!!My only, minor gripe: the watch does vibrate, but I found it too short and somewhat weak to be noticeable under all conditions. I spend a lot of time working outside, and need something just a bit longer and stronger. Related to that, the manufacturer advertises that the vibration is “customizable.” This is incorrect and should be removed from the description.Other than that, a great buy.
Love it
I bought two 41mm and one 44mm for myself, my daughter, and my husband. First off, the 44mm seems to have a different OS than the 41mm. It seems a little better/newer. We all three like them though. Are they super accurate? No, but they’re also pretty inexpensive, so they’re good enough for our use. I immediately had my husband replace my band. Just look for a 20mm watch band. Any will fit. It took my husband 2 minutes to pop it off and replace it. I have had ot for about a week and a tiny line has appeared on my screen, so I’m ordering a replacement, but honestly, it’s barely noticeable, I am just still in the return window, so I figured I may as well. Highly recommend for the price. Oh, and DON’T enable the weather. It has a bug that they are apparently aware of, but it causes the app to continuously crash until you can catch the toggle on the phone screen and turn it off. It would be great to have, but not a deal breaker for us.
Great Value—3-4 day battery life
Great value. Real battery life is closer to 3-4 days.I wanted a “fit” watch just to monitor my heart rate and sleep, nothing else. I don’t really care to get notifications, check the time, or monitor my steps or oxygen saturation.I was pleasantly surprised! The HR and BP are pretty accurate compared to manual readings. The sleep tracker is questionable but gives some idea of deep/light sleep. The watch itself is pretty easy to navigate. It’s not very sophisticated with personalization or settings. However, I have no point of comparison to fancier watches like the Fitbit or Apple Watch.
Comfortable and bright.
I have only had this watch for a day now, but I wanted to talk about a feature of the watch band I have never seen before. The little rubber bit that holds the excess strap from flopping all over the place has a peg on the inside of it to keep it in place on the watch band. Other watches strap keeper is loose and move over the course of the day, so the excess strap can get caught on things like doors and pants pockets. This little bit stays in place and it’s so novel.Otherwise I am still experiencing the watch. So far it’s very comfortable and the bright screen makes it easy to see the details. It has a lot of features and surprisingly the blood pressure reading seems to be relatively close. I will test it with my BP cuff at a later time.It does require a 3rd party app to sync with your phone, but so far no issues with the app.
You get what you pay for
Great little watch for steps and basics. I had to order 2 because the first one lasted less than a day, then died. I charged it 100% upon receiving it and it died within 24 hours and would not charge again. The second one has been better. The heart monitoring is not the best or as accurate (I wear an actual heart monitor for my workouts) and it’s glitched a few times during some workouts. I’d start the workout and it would somehow pause itself every 3 minutes. The sleep monitoring is so-so. Messages come through decently and the battery is good as well. Overall good for what I wanted it for!
Sleep tracking, Accuracy, Ease of Use
Helps me see how much deep sleep I’m getting with additional features if I link it to the app.. Came with a nice charging cord and I charged it immediately for several hours and then put the watch on, after wearing it for almost almost a day I still have 98% battery life. My screen brightness is set to low. I did have to adjust the year to a fictitious year so that the date and day matched up correctly, but you never see the year anyway, so that is not an issue for me. It might have synced up had I used the app or linked it to my phone so likely a non-issue for other people. The time is set accurately and has been keeping time well. You swipe upward to get to the settings, menu, and swipe left to get to the functions menus and once you’re at the functions menus use swipe up to get to other screens and then tap on the screen that you want whether it is heart or exercise or sleep, etc. and then it gives you greater information on that section. You hit the screen button one time to go backwards to the previous screen.
