Good starter drone and fly steadily
I took this drone on a recent countryside hike, and it turned out to be an awesome gadget for capturing the scenery along the way. Its camera is FHD that delivers very clear footage, and we really enjoy the aerial photography with it. It’s quieter and powerful than I expected, and I held my breath, worried it might get blown away in the wind at the beginning, but it stayed steady, capturing smooth footage throughout. The remote control is intuitive for me to easily experiment with different flying modes. I found the GPS accuracy is pretty good. Once I accidentally flew the drone out of sight during a test flight, I immediately activated the auto-return. To my relief, it safely landed back at the starting point. Sure, if the battery life could be better. But overall, it meets my requirements well.

P17 Drone with Brushless Motor 5G Transmission
Drone was easy to set up. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. The app was easy to use. Handled really well. Comes with everything you need for hours of fun and play. Only downsides for me where the camera didn’t seem to be capturing in HD and looked grainy. (Although that could be me not setting it up properly) and just about everything was made of a plastic material, causing me to believe the chances of breaking something if you don’t fly it correctly and/or crash it into something are higher than what I would like. Too be honest, haven’t got to use it too much, so that is just based on my limited use.

Great drone for starters!
This drone has a really good camera, it captures crisp and stunning footage. It gives a controlled and stable flight experience. The maximum flight range is 1km, which is pretty far for a drone. The drone weighs less than 249g, meaning the drone is pretty light and does not take too long to get in the air. The enhanced brushless motors provide exceptional stability and efficiency, allowing the drone to easily withstand level 4 wind resistance.

Seems to be good quality..
Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful.For the price, this seems to be a great buy. I could set it side by side with my DJI drones, but at the price point, it wouldn’t be a fair comparison. Judging it on it’s own merits? I am impressed! I have not had a chance to use it outdoors yet as the weather is quite rainy…good old Pacific Northwest in winter, but I have flown in a little bit indoors. Not much, because it always ends in disaster when I do! The drone is nice and lightweight, which at 249grams, just ekes under the FAA UAV pilot licensing and registration requirements. It comes in a really nice zippered case, which holds it in place for traveling and storage. The camera is decent, and it comes with everything you need to go and have fun with it.

Easy to fly, swesome shots, great for beginners!
This drone totally surprised me—in a good way. I’m new to flying drones, and this one made it super easy to get started. The instructions were clear. The camera gives really clear footage, and I love how you can adjust the angle from the remote. The 4K photo quality is legit, and the 1080P video looks smooth thanks to the WiFi transmission. The extra batteries are a nice touch, giving me almost an hour of total flight time. Super fun to use, and the carrying bag makes it easy to bring anywhere. Definitely recommend for anyone starting out!

As a beginner drone user, I appreciated the sub 249g weight making registration unnecessary. The 4K camera captures decent footage in good lighting, although the image quality suffers in less than ideal conditions. The 5G WiFi transmission offers a fairly stable connection for live viewing on my phone. I found the “follow me” mode a bit unreliable. The drone sometimes struggled to maintain a consistent lock on me. The brushless motor seems powerful enough to handle moderate wind conditions. Battery life is adequate, providing me with roughly 20 minutes of flight time per charge. The three camera setup is interesting but I did not find the additional cameras particularly useful in my regular usage. The remote control is intuitive and easy to grasp.

The setup was very straightforward, and within a short time, I had it connected to my phone and ready to fly. The instructions were clear enough even for someone like me who’s not a professional drone user.The 4K camera quality is very good, especially in good lighting. The video is clear and smooth, and the photos are sharp. I love that it has a wide-angle view, so I can capture a lot in one shot. It makes a big difference when taking scenic videos or photos from higher up. The real-time video feed to my phone works well, and the GPS makes the drone stable and easy to control, even in a bit of wind.The GPS positioning is accurate, and it holds its position well in the air without much manual control. This drone kit came in its own carrying bag with packaging that was very well thought out for storing all the accessories and optimized for travel necessities. The hard carry case can hold three batteries, the controller, charger, spare propellers, and all accessories necessary for outdoor shooting. The drone is foldable, means that it does not occupy a lot of space and it is made of high-quality abs material with some metal parts, to make it more sturdy and strong, but it only weighs just a bit let’s then 250 grams, which usually means it doesn’t need to be registered with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA)..I really like that the drone is GPS-locked, which makes flying so much easier and more intuitive. It helps to keep the drone steady even when winds got stronger. The camera has a very good resolution and features electronic image stabilization. All videos are sharp and the whole shooting process is much smoother.I was also able to test the range of the drone in an open field, and noticed that the connection was strong throughout, and the drone was very responsive to the commands from the controller and I was able to safely return it home whenever the signal dropped or the battery was about to be exhausted. I even tried “follow mode,” this way the drone is following me around at a fixed distance and is able to take very good action shots. And I was quite happy with the results.This is a well-built drone with very good quality and features.

IMPORTANT: In the UK you MUST have an operator ID to own/operate this drone – that’s about £12/year from the CAA. It is only exempt in the US where the FAA rules are slightly different. I think the product description is misleading on this point – hence a docked star.So after I obtained an operator ID and took the flyer exam, I set out to test this. Unfortunately it’s been quite windy recently, so I was anxious about such a light device being blown about. In fact, it was more stable than I expected it to be. Having never piloted a drone before it took me a while to get the hang of it with most of my landings being more akin to soft crashes, but the drone does not appear to have sustained any damage.I started off very gently but found that I got to grips with the controls fairly quickly. There’s a procedure you have to go through first to allow the device to calibrate itself, but that doesn’t take more than a couple of minutes.I haven’t tried the camera yet or some of the other functions such as ‘follow me’ or ‘return to base’. I’m sure as I get more experienced I’ll be able to control it fairly precisely; for now it’s just about keeping it out of trouble!The kit itself comes with nearly everything you need. The only thing missing is 3 x AA batteries for the controller. There are spare rotor blades and you get 3 x batteries for the drone itself, each of which lasts around 20 minutes.Overall this is a great device and I’m looking forward to spending more time honing my skills!!
