If you’re thinking about doing it, just get it
The setup is straightforward, the controller feels responsive and intuitive, and the drone itself is incredibly stable even in windy or gusty conditions. Its also easy to fly even at night with the 360 obstacle sensing.One thing that really surprised me was the signal reliability. I live in a fairly dense area with a lot of cell towers and potential signal interference. Despite that, I was able to confidently fly the Mini 5 Pro well over a mile away with full bars of connection and no connection issues or signal dropouts. Watching how smoothly it holds position and maintains video transmission is honestly a little mind-blowing how crazy the technology is getting these days.I also appreciate the darker body color. It seemed like a small detail at first, but it actually makes a difference when you’re trying to keep visual sight against a bright sky. I find it noticeably easier to track than lighter-colored drones I’ve flown in the past.The camera quality is where this really shines. The footage is incredibly sharp, the colors are clean without feeling over-processed, and the dynamic range does a great job preserving details in colors, shadows, and highlights. When I first saw how amazing the footage came out I immediately wanted to fly it again. The quality is just that good.The automated features on the Mini 5 Pro make a huge difference too. The ActiveTrack works incredibly well for following subjects smoothly, and MasterShots and QuickShots make it easy to get cinematic clips as well. The Cruise Control is also a super nice feature to have.I use mine just about every day, weather permitting. It’s become part of my routine; whether I’m capturing a sunrise, exploring a new angle of my neighborhood, or just taking it out for a relaxing flight to explore. It never gets old seeing the world from that perspective. The best way I can put it is being able to capture the feeling of a place you are better than actually being there; something often frustrating about ground based cameras.If you’re on the fence about this drone, just get it. The combination of ease of use, quality, battery life, and portability makes it something you’ll keep wanting to use more and more. Also, just get the RC2 controller; its super nice and you wont regret it. For how long this drone flies, taking the third variable (your phone) out of the equation is nice. Once you see your first footage playback, you’ll understand exactly why.

Mini 5 Pro finally in the US!
Mini 5 Pro finally available in the US! Ordered a Mini 5 Pro Fly More kit about a month after official release the day they popped up for Prime shipping at MSRP through Amazon and I am happy to report I received exactly what I expected. Item was brand new, shrink wrapped, and activated perfectly. It is doubtful that you will get a warranty, so I would recommend adding the accidental damage warranty to be safe. Drone flys great and has a ton of nice features that most know about. Some hidden features I didn’t see that much talked about, the drone can stay in sleep mode for 12 hours after a flight using minimal battery for you to connect your phone and download images and videos without having to even remove it from your bag. Transfer speeds are also much faster than my Mini 3. The dynamic range for videos is fantastic for a mini drone, but keep ISO set to Auto to get the benefit of whatever computation it is doing to merge exposures. The RC2 controller is such a better controller than the one where you use your screen, and is easily worth the cost difference. Battery charger can do parallel charging now. The drone charges a battery much faster when plugging directly into the rear of the drone. I saw almost 40W at one point.How they managed to get all of these features in a palm size drone is very impressive. If you have not flown a drone before, I would watch some beginner videos before you fly to understand, and then be smart when flying. The object avoidance is not magic.

Under 250g professional drone at its best
I own N+ DJI drones. Mini 3,4 and now mini 5 pro. It is spectacular. Big improvement in camera features like the LIDAR for night vision ability, it boasts a 1”CMOS sensor which is huge! 48GIG OF INTERNAL STORAGE!!! That’s outrageous. Don’t need an external memory card. Internal memory has faster write times. I use my external card as a backup. As with all DJI Drones, you get quality build. All my DJIdrones have been put through a lot( I take chances to get a good shot), and they all are durable beasts. Pretty stable video in some pretty strong windy situations. As always the technical advancements from this company means you get an easy to use but extremely sophisticated drone. I got a great deal here on Amazon. Get them while you can. Love the under 250g…..❤️

A Very Good Drone
This is a VERY good drone. But if you have a Mini 4 Pro, you may want to hold off. Is there an improvement over the M4P? Yes. Is it earth-shattering? No. If you do a lot of night shooting, get it. Night shots are great. But the LIDAR is overrated and daytime performance is only nominally improved. You will need to buy an RC2 Pro ($1000+ extra) to take advantage of Ocusync 4+ so range will be similar.

Çok titiz davransan da gimbalın altındaki dairesel alanı çiziyorsun. kapak tasarımı hiç olmamış.-Video kalitesi çok iyi ama fotoğraf kalitesi bir o kadar vasat, anlamak çok zor.-Pervaneler kilitli sistem yapılmış, dronu toplarken tek tek motora doğru bastırıp kapatmanız gerekiyor, sebebini anlamak zor.-Drone elinizde iken gimbal shake çok bariz var, uçarken nadir de olsa oluyor.özellikle uç noktalara indirdiğinizde ve dönüşlerde gimbal titriyor, m4pro’da hiç denk gelmemiştim bu şekilde bir şeye, air3s’te de yok. İnternette araştırdığımda bana özel durum değil, herkeste benzer olay var.-FCC yapmazsanız çekimi çok vasat, şehir içinde 1km’de 2 dişe düşüyor çekim kuvveti, O4+ olayı reklamdan ileri gitmiyor. Ayrıca dronun arka kısmı size doğru iken çekim kuvveti daha fazla, örneğin 1km de 3diş iken dronun önünü kumandaya çevirdiğinizde çekim 1 dişe düşüyor.Dronun antenler sanırım sadece arka kollarda.+Video kalitesi m4’ten net daha iyi, 1” sensör farkı görülüyor. Görüntü kalitesi çok önemli ise m5 pro seçilmeli.+ Lidar var, m4 prodan daha iyi engel tanıma, eve dönme seçenekleri.

This is my first drone ever. It was easy to get started. Always go for fly more combo since you can’t do much with a single battery (specially if theres strong wind). Camera quality is amazing and drone seems to hold up well against really strong wind.
