Works great, but regret getting RGB
Got for my prebuilt pc that only had 8 gigs of RAM. They’re great quality, my performance has been so much better since I got these. The only issue I have is that you can’t turn off the RGB, they’re very bright and flashy, so it can get a little irritating.
This is my second set of RAM this year, these Corsair sticks are replacing a couple of Patriot sticks that died prematurely after about 6 months. So far so good, unlike the Patriot sticks these ones actually have proper functioning XMP profiles that correctly match the supplied specifications. Ran it through a complete test with Memtest86, full marks, no bad addresses, actually seemed to run in about 1/2 the time of the Patriot ones even when they were fresh.Time will tell how they do overall, but it’s a good start.
Performance-wise, this RAM is fast and reliable, perfect for gaming and multitasking. The RGB lighting looks amazing, and the iCUE software makes customizing it really simple. It’s a great upgrade for any PC build
