It’s a good one!
Better than I thought. Got it for my wife who just uses it for Amazon, paying bills and email. Replaced her old Dell since it was Win 10 and got VERY SLOW! This Beelink is so much faster – boots quickly, silent, runs old Dell programs just fine. Takes up little space which is remarkable. Only concern after having it a month was update from Win 11 ver 24H2 to 25H2. Unsuccessful first couple attempts then a window popped up in the updates section to repair existing version. Clicked on it, seemed to clear everything up and the ver 25H2 was ready to install. Took a long time to install but turned out OK and works perfectly. Highly recommend this product.
Pleasantly surprised
I was a bit leery about buying a mini computer to replace a very outdated laptop. The specs on this were very impressive to me, especially considering the price. Since I recently retired, I really didn’t need a laptop, as I always kept the old one at my desk connected to a USB hub with all my peripherals. I’ve been using this mini computer for some time now and I am very impressed! It boots quickly, connects to WiFi without issues, and easily serves my needs. Performance is excellent. I definitely recommend this mini PC and wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one like it again if the need arises.
Sweet living room server
Deployed in the living room, stealth mode in an end table. It runs cool, but I’m not putting a heavy load on it. I’m running Truenas off the emmc with 4 of the 6 nvme slots currently in use. No performance issues, and after changing the bios setting to have it power of after power failure it came back up after an extended power outage the other day. I’m actually pretty impressed with this little guy so far.
Terminally dead after just 10 months. (Revised Review – Beelink replaced it!)
Worked well, until it didn’t. I was first impressed by this low cost PC. It fit the bill for serving movies and music as well as a bit of web surfing. Unfortunately after 10 months it just died. Blip and then nothing. Tried to reset the CMOS, reseated memory and HD, verified that the power supply was good. Nothing brought it back to life. I was considering a RMA as it was still under warranty, but I’d have to ship it back to China at my expense and also the terms of their warranty are onerous, having many clauses to disallow any claims. I reckon I’ll just eat this one, but Beelink will never expect my business againRevision: I contacted Beelink and they were very responsive. They had me try a few things and then agreed that it was dead. I was able to send back the unit to a US address for review. It took a week or so but they responded that they would send me a new PC. They did not have the Mini S!2 in stock so they shipped an EQ14 as an upgrade. Received it yesterday and am impressed so far. Linux loads fine without an issues. Summary: Customer service was excellent. Jury still out on the product, but I’m optimistic about this replacement.
Super quiet, extremely powerful server in a cute package
Super quiet, extremely powerful server. I am running a photo server, website, backup server, and minecraft server off this thing. It sips power but can do a lot when you need it do. Super pleased.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM BEELINK (BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE)
UPDATE 02/13/2025. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY BEE-LINK. Bee-link had me send all units back, at my cost. Bee-link does Not have a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) account for shipping back bad units. They were supposed to reimburse me for the shipping, but I am still waiting over (2) months for reimbursement. They were supposed to send me all new units, but I am still waiting on the completion of that promise. I definitely will not be holding my breath.UPDATE 12/19/2024. After Beelink told us to perform (4) tests per unit ( 4 tests x 6 units ) to see if these fix the problems vs. issuing a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) for the (6) defective units (@ $300 in IT man hours)…..Beelink has the audacity to request that the Customer (me) mail back to (6) defective units to their facility (no RMA) at my expense. We have just LOST over $1,620 in expenses to Beelink + $300 in IT man hours = $1,920 total. AND they want us to send back the DEFECTIVE units at our cost. THAT’S A JOKE!This is NOT a company that anyone should do business with. No one should buy from Beelink because of this interaction and BAD customer service. We will NEVER buy from Beelink again. BUYER BE WARE!!!We will also be filing a USA BBB. Beelink is a CHINA Company (MONOMARK HOUSE 27 OLD GLOUCESTER STREET, LONDON, ENGLAND WC1N 3AX) and everyone should be CAREFUL. Their customer service does NOT care about the customer and defective products. They only care about profits and how much they can get from the US Clients for their defective products. I have seen numerous complaints on REDDIT, Trustpilot, TomsHardware, etc. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and buy from a USA Manufacturer or a more trusted brand.BEELINK EQ13 Mini PC Intel N200, 16GB, DDR4, 500G is defective. We bought (6) of these units, and they all have FAILED. We paid $270 apiece for each one. $270 x 6 = $1,620 total. HDMI ports are not responsive. Blue screen of death. Periodic shutdowns. Running HOT. Our IT Department has spent countless hours trying to keep these units running for our office, and we cannot afford to continue with these specific units. These (6) units are still under the manufacturer’s warranty. We are looking into other manufacturers to replace these units. We will be filing a BBB Complaint against Beelink. We have a solution to the replacement these (6) defective units, with higher quality units or a full refund, and hope that Beelink reach out to us to resolve this issue.
A great little box, capable of more than you might think, definitely recommend
I own three of these; I use them primarily as smart TV boxes that integrate with my home entertainment system. They have all the connectivity, the speed, and the storage that I need for these uses. They are high quality and a good value for the money. I have also on one occasion swapped drives in one of these when I needed a backup machine just to continue working on word processing and Internet tasks related to my business as an author while I had my main machine in the shop for repair. This device was able to pick up the slack and allow me to continue on painlessly while I waited for my desktop machine to come back out of the shop. BTW: When I got them, I installed Windows Tiny 11 on all of them to make the machines run fast and light on resources rather using the full bloat version of Windows 11.
I got this power house of a computer, it was time for an upgrade. I plugged it in, connected my things to it and powered it up. Had to do a few upgrades but it was fast and easy. For such a little box it does much better than my old desktop. It is quieter, definitely takes up less room. I am very pleased with it so far, it has been running for a week now!!!!!
We use Apple products but every now and then you need a PC to do something you just can’t find an app for the Mac. I was going to buy a used laptop but this was cheap and new and fits our use case perfectly. It was super easy to set up although I did need to buy a wired mouse and keyboard. The Windows 11 Pro installed was at end of life but I was able to install a newer version without a problem. There was no garbage installed. Everything runs quickly and smoothly. Can’t go wrong for the money.
I have had this mini pc for about 2 weeks (+or-).PROS:BOOT up speed goes from being powered off to on in secondsSPACE Saver: Perfect for those who want the power of a PC without the bulky tower.VERSATILE: From what I have seen in the manual, it appears to be easy to upgrade. Although I have no need to do so right now. IE: only one slot is used for the 16GIGs of RAM, and it does not appear to be soldered on like many Laptops are doing these days.Cons: I have not found any so far.In the end, when my 2nd PC (laptop) conks out, I will definitely buy another.
Easy to set up and has been working well for the five days I have been using it so far. Only issue is the constant task bar message that says ‘Your version of Windows 11 has reached its end of service’ however I had done all the updates so I don’t know what else to do.
I like these mini computers a lot, and ended up buying two of them after owning one for almost a year. They have their limitations with 4 cores, but knowing that, these things perform like a 8th generation i5 laptop in such a small form factor, they can handle business apps with ease and are more than well suited for home entertainment.I ran into an issue with the last Win 11 24H2 upgrade, and the beelink customer support team helped resolve it with a few emails.
