Wow, major improvement from my last experience.
My history with the Apple Watch was that I was given someone’s hand me down when they upgraded. Not sure which series it was, but it was early on, and I hated it. That experience prevented me from buying one myself. Fast forward many years and I find myself in need of a device that will monitor my pulse 24/7. I used a Fitbit for years, but it was its accuracy was not reliable enough. After extensive shopping of devices, I decided to give the Series 11 Apple Watch a try.I have to admit, I am impressed and delighted. I didn’t know when I bought it that you had to use the new iOS 26 on your iPhone in order for it to work. I have an iPhone 16 so if you have an older phone check compatibility of iOS 26.On to the watch itself, I did not get the cellular version, just GPS but I have been really pleased with how well it replaces the phone for many of the functions that I had to carry the phone around for besides communication.Once I loaded iOS 26, the watch and phone paired up immediately with no problems. I love the larger watch face. It is easy to read, easy to launch apps and actually not too bad to type on for an old geezer who misses the simple days of the Motorola Flip Phone. The health features are pretty amazing and for me, worth the price by themselves, for home heart monitoring it eliminates my need for my small ecg, my oximeter and possibly a BP cuff (we’ll see how accurate that is over time). It is still new, but so far everything I explore excites me to explore it more. I’m a long time Apple person with the exception of my Windows laptop. It’s nice to add another convenient device that works so well with my iPhone and iPad.
It saves me money.
I am still learning how to use my watch. I love how it replaces the bulky thing I wore around my neck in case I fell and had to be assisted to the hospital. I am 78 and this is much better than those things around your neck. And for the same price, the apple watch reports on my heart, my steps, get up and walk command and I can type in how far I walked on the treadmill. I can share it with my doctor. I did get rid of the group of people doing a 10K run, and telling me all about it and I could care less. The size of the text and all the pretty watch bands are a blast. Charging it is a breeze and it sends you a message to take care of that also.I paid over $500 for that bulky thing around my neck for one year. this i have for 3-5 years. Who knows but it sure is fun.
I don’t know why I did not purchase this watch sooner
I love my Apple Watch. It looks great. I don’t know how I lived without it. I have it linked to my health care apps with no issues and my phone. The watch is very intuitive, it offers exercises, stress, heart, breathing, and oxygen levels during sleep, and much more. It is versatile enough that I can choose a face for dress or for everyday use. I do not take my watch off except to charge it.
Watch me Fall.
This product is amazing. You know anything Apple I believe that puts a lot of effort effort into what their products are and how they’re made. Also, you know after I bought it I had a couple of hard falls. I’m in Hospice currently and it immediately came on and asked me if I needed help. Did you want me to dial 911 it was pretty amazing and it got me off the floor real quick as far as calling 911 and them showing up so if you need a watch like this that connects to 911 or help or whatever go ahead and buy it cause there’s a good product. it’s a great product actually.
Apple Watch Series 11
I love this watch! It is a replacement for the Apple Watch Series 3 in stainless steel which I could no longer update. The watch is slightly larger than my other one but doesn’t look overly large on my small wrist. I haven’t explored all the new features of this watch but I’m pleased so far.
My favorite yet
I’m obsessed with this watch. I may have smaller wrists, but the bigger face changes everything. I’m a wedding photographer and I need to be able to read notifications and plans quickly during wedding days. This watch is easier to read, faster than I’ve ever had before, and the battery is amazing. I love the black color, and I feel this watch less than the smaller ones. I don’t notice the weight. I did get a silicon case to protect it just in case.
Can be used as a medical alert device.
This series 11 Apple Watch is amazing. It required almost no setup to use and is easy to see and use. I am using it for the fall alert feature, since I am prone to falls. I also like the fact that I can use gestures. It fits well and looks stylish.
A nice upgrade if you have an older version Apple watch.
A nice upgrade from my old series four. Improvements all around. Lower profile makes it more comfortable to track sleep than my last one. Battery life could be better given the generation this is. It’s hard to wear it all day and then have enough battery to track your sleep too. Screen is nice and bright, even when cranked down a little to save battery. Blood Pressure monitoring is a little misleading. It doesn’t measure Blood Pressure like a cuff, it somehow identifies other measurements consistent with high blood pressure and then warns you and tells you to see a doctor. It also says the feature doesn’t work if you already have hypertension or are being treated for it. So, if you were thinking it would help you monitor your actual blood pressure, it won’t do that.
