Does it support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and 5GHz Wi-Fi?
Only 2.4 GHz WiFi. Bluetooth will scan 2.4GHz WiFi quickly so you can set up the camera easily. 2.4GHz is better than 5GHz because long distance and more stable. If you have 5GHz, the router also gives out 2.4GHz signal.
Can this camera record continuously 24/7?
This solar security camera only records event after motion is detected.
Do I need cloud subscription to run the camera?
You don’t need to use cloud service if you chose to use a micro SD card for free local storage.
Will it track when motion is detected?

Very good cameras!
Pro’s:-Cameras are very well made.-The App is well thought out and user friendly with a ton of control options for the free basic version. Limitations without subscription are a 5 minute only live video review, No advanced AI features, can only delete one event at a time. The plan fees are inline with what other services are charging, but unless you need these advanced features, which I do not, the basic free plan gives you more than enough options.-Sound is incredible! It is so sensitive that it captured my grandson in his bathroom, talking to himself with the camera on the outside and 15 feet away from that exterior wall!-Image during live review is very good but gets a little grainy when zooming out past about 30 feet or so. Normal viewing however, the live feed has very clear and crisp picture.-Tracking is excellent! Keeps up very well with moving objects and follows them until they are out of sight.-Battery life with Solar charging is surprisingly excellent so far. From the time it got dark to the time the sun came up, they never went below 93% on either camera and were fully charged again a couple hours after the sun came up.-WIFI signal so far seems to stay strong with my cameras mounted on the front porch and about 20 feet from our router on the other side of the porch wall. Anther is in a location farther out with many walls and obstruction between it and the router. So far, I have not seen a signal below 92% strength on any camera.- I like the fact that these have a wide-angle view. They cover a lot of area without the need for motion tracking.-The separate solar panel is great, allowing you to mount the camera in one location while mounting the solar panel in another, more optimal location, with a nice long cord.-Sharing is a very nice feature. I had to get help with that one but got it on my Wife’s phone and now she can use the app and cameras too. There is an online support tab on the bottom right of the opening screen. I typed in “share with family” and I have to tell you I am very impressed! It came up with detailed instructions and I had her linked in minutes!-Viewing the cameras away from home works very good.-Downloading event videos and pictures is a breeze. Just click the download tab and it creates its’ own file in your phones gallery and places a copy of the event in it.-Customer service is fantastic! I emailed them over the weekend and first thing Monday morning they emailed me back with very detailed instructions. They have also followed up two days in a row now, which is pretty incredible customer service! This tells me that they stand behind their products and their customers.Con’s:-The price for the pair is a bit on the expensive side in my opinion, but well in line with other brands of similar nature, design and features.-The App while having great features and options is a little buggy, not too bad though. It seems to have issues with with lag between commands and the cameras response to the commands. Connection issues and lag are intermittent. It is definitely not a wifi connection issue as I stated above my signal strength is over 90%. Over the past several days that I have used these cameras, lag/latency has improved quite a bit.-SD card formatting is also buggy. It takes a few tries to get it to actually complete. One of my cameras has told me a few times now that it did not recognize the 128gb card I installed and it was a bit of a pain to finally get the card formatted again, which of course, wiped the card of all stored events. I ended up reformatting them in my PC, and the problems has not returned.In conclusion, I am very happy with these. For me personally, they do what I need them to do. They are very well made, robust cameras, and the solar option was perfect for my needs. Plenty of user options, mount anywhere you need, great battery longevity, excellent Customer Service… There is just so much you can do with these!

Great cameras, a couple of hiccups, and support has been stellar!
I bought the 2 camera set. These were easy to install, setup, and a Wi-Fi connection was established easily. They worked great for the first week but not without a few recurring issues…- The first issue was that the cameras were both cycling at night. The infrared light lights were in an endless loop of on off on off on off on off. I adjusted the default view several times and that seemed to limit the cycling, then after a few weeks the cycling stopped altogether without rhyme or reason. Excellent.- The “Default Views” needed to be reset every other day. For reasons unknown the view would shift with no motion detected, no events recorded, and no manual interaction on my end. That issue has stopped with one camera, and the other camera has been generously replaced by AOSU.- I was AMAZED one day to receive a “Motion at Front Door Alert” and when I replayed the event there was a hummingbird buzzing around the camera and was being tracked very accurately, but there have also been a few misses of people walking up to my front door undetected. I have changed some of the settings and believe the accuracy has now improved.- Occasionally I will receive a pop up message that the Garage or Front Door camera has not been charged in one or two days, even though the main screen interface usually shows the cameras at 100%. Not an issue as long as they are indeed charging.I was very quick to judge the cameras and service, but AOSU Tech Support has been EXTREMELY responsive and has provided one-on-one support DAILY to insure that I was happy with my purchase and satisfied with the functionality of the cameras. Every issue was addressed quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend AOSU or to make a future purchase (doorbell).It has been an honor to collaborate with “Daisy” at AOSU, who has provided unwavering support and positivity… 谢谢

Great Wireless TPZ Camera System with Long Range Signal AOSU 3k/5MP
If you need an awesome Wireless Camera system with a LONG range, you need to get the AOSU Outdoor Homebase camera system. Easy install, the range of the TPZ camera is the longest of any system I’ve tested or used. With the Homebase indoors I have tested the camera’s out over 200′ and they still get good reception. Having installed several of these system, I had one Homebase defective and after some over the phone trouble shooting, they quickly sent out a replacement. Two way communication, night vision, and many other features. The Homebase comes with two camera’s and you can order a third to expand. They also have another system with four fixed wireless camera’s. The range is not quit as far, but will handle most home or office needs.

Really easy to install as there is no need for a power connection, this amazing bit of kit can be placed almost anywhere so long as it’s within WiFi range.I bought the doorbell camera and also the attached solar panel of this brand. The video quality is excellent and no cloud storage fees, a bonus.I purchased the Kingston SanDisk 128GB Ultra microSDXC cards from Amazon and would suggest you format the card within the camera itself during the setup, as easy as pressing a button! (no computer necessary another bonus) before mounting the camera.Also, connect it to your WiFi before mounting. I had problems with connecting to the camera until I worked out that the antennas needed to be positioned straight up.I have to mention the outstanding customer service. They responded to my issue well within twenty-four hours. The support was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful.I wanted a separate solar panel for over the back door so I could place it on the south side of the garden wall which has the most sunlight.Motion tracking is excellent and both cameras have motion detection which will follow the activity and then return to its original ‘resting’ place that you set up.Picture quality is more than good enough compared to even some expensive systems still on the market today, and features like 2-way audio mean this delivers a lot of value.My favourite feature is the people tracking and the ability to illuminate and send pre-recorded messages to any unauthorised activity with voice changer, which is really like magic!Overall, great value and packed full of features.

This is a great camera, easy to install and excellent picture quality. I’ve ordered 4 cameras, and 1 camera failed: stopped charging. Customer service has been helpful. Asynchronous email chatting (I think they are based in China so there was about 12 hour delay). I sent a video of the problem and they will be sending me a new camera. So far I’m very satisfied. I will update if replacement camera does not arrive as promised.

Camera installata e configuratq tramite app in italiano, molto intuitiva e quindi assolutamente alla portata di tutti.La camera dà immagini di qualità elevata e invia le notifiche agli smartphone in caso di rilevazione di presenza.Ciò che mi ha stupito è stato il servizio di supporto che ho contattato in due occasioni dopo l’acquisto. Una prima volta li ho contattati per una problema di pagamento tramite PayPal e l’hanno risolto in un paio di giorni. La seconda volta ho contattato il servizio di Supporto per un problema tecnico che, dopo diagnosi del guasto, hanno risolto immediatamente con la spedizione di una camera nuova arrivata dopo 2 gg.In entrambi i casi sono stati velocissimi e gentilissimi. Ritengo che quando si acquistano prodotti tecnologici la variabile del problema tecnico sia da mettere sempre in conto e in tal caso un servizio di supporto post vendita come questo fa assolutamente la differenza.
