Great cameras, a couple of hiccups, and support has been stellar!
I bought the 2 camera set. These were easy to install, setup, and a Wi-Fi connection was established easily. They worked great for the first week but not without a few recurring issues…- The first issue was that the cameras were both cycling at night. The infrared light lights were in an endless loop of on off on off on off on off. I adjusted the default view several times and that seemed to limit the cycling, then after a few weeks the cycling stopped altogether without rhyme or reason. Excellent.- The “Default Views” needed to be reset every other day. For reasons unknown the view would shift with no motion detected, no events recorded, and no manual interaction on my end. That issue has stopped with one camera, and the other camera has been generously replaced by AOSU.- I was AMAZED one day to receive a “Motion at Front Door Alert” and when I replayed the event there was a hummingbird buzzing around the camera and was being tracked very accurately, but there have also been a few misses of people walking up to my front door undetected. I have changed some of the settings and believe the accuracy has now improved.- Occasionally I will receive a pop up message that the Garage or Front Door camera has not been charged in one or two days, even though the main screen interface usually shows the cameras at 100%. Not an issue as long as they are indeed charging.I was very quick to judge the cameras and service, but AOSU Tech Support has been EXTREMELY responsive and has provided one-on-one support DAILY to insure that I was happy with my purchase and satisfied with the functionality of the cameras. Every issue was addressed quickly and professionally. I would not hesitate to recommend AOSU or to make a future purchase (doorbell).It has been an honor to collaborate with “Daisy” at AOSU, who has provided unwavering support and positivity… 谢谢

Good initial impressions, easy setup
Update Day 2: Very limited location and AI person tracking capability… but easy setup and control via smart phone app.Cons:1) Very Limited “motion tracking” capability – which was the main reason I bought this camera! Motion/Person tracking is slow to process and react to the scene, even when standing right in view 10ft away. For security the camera should be high and out of reach, but this also appears to degrade person detection (looking down upon a person walking vs face on approach) and if I walk under / near the camera it looses track of me – even when in full range of motion (not walking behind the camera). Overall not great in software and processing power to keep up with tracking a person walking slowly, then also limited to 379-degree motion (cannot rotate camera behind itself) and looking “down”… camera doesn’t like to do that.It would be great to see software update the TRULY includes object “tracking” as it moves, not reevaluating a scene every frame to identify person or not and try-to-track.2) limited location, only works best if facing the entire scene to record and not “over the shoulder” behind itself. The panorama view does not cover looking back much.3) App limitations in viewing the scene. The camera angle is not very wide which is good in some ways and can setup “default” view of the scene to monitor. Cannot do “360 scan” in automated/scheduled way though there is that button in the app to do manually. I wish it would scan periodically – or ESPECIALLY after loosing sight of a tracked person – and it also does not scan well below the camera, just outward.4) slow but acceptable response to access the camera remotely, would probably be faster with cloud service (makes one wonder if non-cloud access is intentionally slower?)Pros1) good camera quality2) easy to setup and use with app3) onboard camera storage, cloud storage option is option but no month fee required if using onboard microSD card4) affordable PT camera (only digital zoom in on the screen) to remotely view a local sceneInitial: Very impressed initially after opening the box, requires Aosa app installed on smart device and scan QR code on camera to connect to device and WiFi. I like that this one has a 9ft USB-C cable between the solar panel and the camera, so that I can put this camera on the dark north side of a building and get the solar panel in a position to get some sunlight. I also have the original SolarCam D1 with fixed solar panel and that is great in a south/west facing area in northern hemisphere.Model number: SolarCam D1 SE (second edition), #C9E2DA11, White, Made in China

Vraiment très satisfait pour l’instant de cette caméra, elle manque encore de petites touches de personnalisation mais correspond entièrement au descriptif.

I now have 5 of these cameras placed around my cottage to watch the wildlife take over when we are not there. The motion detection activates perfectly and the videos are very clear. The solar charging allows for lots of viewing time without worrying about the battery level. These cameras were incredibly easy to install and setup. I couldn’t be happier, I look forward to being able to monitor the winter snow loads on the roof and any possible storm damage.Great product. I’m very satisfied.
