Super handy little gadget!
Super handy little gadget! The Anker 2-in-1 USB-C SD card reader is compact, easy to carry, and works like a charm with both my laptop and phone. Small but mighty
I recently brought this due to the fact my laptop SD card reader wasn’t working. And when I tried it out it works surprisingly well. It small which mean You can put it in any pocket it got 2 slot so if you also want to put a microSD card in you can. It also not made in China. Basically the perfect SD Card reader for me and maybe even for you!

Solid little reader, no complaints.
I haven’t had this long but it’s working very well for me. I’ve used it on an older Mac and a couple of PC’s with no problems. I’ve also used slower and faster cards on it and both work well and are quick. The build quality seems good and it has a good solid click for USB-c. This is another Anker product I’m happy with.

Almost worked as I had hoped, but…
I gave a 5 star rating even though the device won’t help me do what I was hoping that other reviewers described. I wanted to be able to view dashcam videos, in my car, on my phone, from the dashcam memory card. I have a dual recording, RedTiger, dashcam that takes 4K front video and HD rear video. This card reader works as intended but unfortunately, my Motorola phone doesn’t have the capablity of showing 4K video. I can’t see the front, 4K videos on my phone, I can view HD video fine. Otherwise the reader works just as it was designed to so I’ll keep for file transfers and other purposes. It’s nice and compact.

Ease of use
I was having a problem finding an adapter for my card reader to go from lightning to usb c and as a result I purchased the Anker card reader that has a usb c connection. It works as advertised and is compact

Works well, great transfer speeds, but does get warm
The only thing holding this back from 5 stars is the fact that it gets VERY warm during usage. Does it still chug along just fine? Yes. Can I touch it without burning myself? Yes. Does it seem to cap at a certain heat level? Also yes. BUT despite all these yeses, it’s still a bit concerning to feel it heating up quite significantly whenever I use it. To date it hasn’t done any damage / ever failed me, and I recommend it almost unreservedly.

Easy to use!
I bought this for my son to use during his senior year, and it has been perfect! He needed an easy way to transfer pictures from his camera to his phone so he could quickly post them on social media, and this little reader makes it effortless.It’s truly plug-and-play—no setup hassles at all. Just insert the SD card, plug it in, and the photos transfer right away. For the price, the quality is excellent, and it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Works great for when I have to review my footage on my gopro or dash camera on a moments notice. Just hook it up to your phone/computer and you’re good to go!
