Great Speaker! – Broken Down Review
The sound bar rocks!SOUND AND EQ:Admittedly I’m not the most experienced person with sound bars but I’ve tried out several over the years and for the price, none have compared. I live in a small apartment and the sound bar sounds fantastic. Crisp and clear sound with the ability to adjust the EQ to your needs. The pre-set EQ has settings for music, sports, night and movie. You can also adjust the bass, treble and dialogue with the click of one button on the remote. If you aren’t adjusting the sound you don’t even have to use the second remote as it turns on automatically with the TV. The built in subwoofer is particularly impressive sounding for such an all in one sound bar.SIZE:It isn’t thin enough to slide under the TV but isn’t distracting. It also comes with mounting brackets.SETUP:Setup on my Insignia Fire TV couldn’t have been easier. All you have to do is plug in the power cable and connect an HDMI. All the chords are included. Just make sure you plug it into an ARC compatible HDMI on the TV (Should be labeled).VALUE:As mentioned earlier I think it’s great value for the price. I would argue it rivals brands such as SONOS being way more affordable, compatible, user friendly, and great sounding.

Excellent soundbar — great value!
I decided to replace my aging LG 2.1 soundbar recently with a 2.0 or higher unit. Didn’t want a separate sub for space and “good neighbor” reasons as we recently had moved into a mid-sized garden apartment with an upstairs neighbor. We limited our budget to $200 after surveying the market, using Amazon and Best Buy websites. Our finalists consisted of three units, a JBL “5.0” and a Samsung 2.0, and this 2.0 unit. Our TV is a 4 year old Toshiba 50” Fire unit with HDMI ARC and digital outputs. The JBL unit eliminated itself by its really clunky small remote control (“press this button 3 times to adjust bass response” and “hold this button for 5 seconds to pair BT unit”). Pain in the butt to say the least. The unit had decent bass response but showed significant bass distortion and crackling at moderate volume levels. Occasionally it lost connection with the TV and we struggled to reconnect. Another pain in the butt. The Samsung unit does not have HDMI ARC connections so control features are not possible with TV remote using digital connectors. It proved hard to pair with BT and midrange (especially voice tones) were somewhat muffled at low volume levels. It was a pain to have two separate remote controls needed to customize our audio experience.(We had ordered all three for a side-by-side comparison. I am not a technophile so you won’t see a long technical conversation here.)The Amazon Fire unit is ideal for us! It was discovered by our Fire TV very quickly. We can control the bass and treble levels, surround sound, EQ and other audio features through the soundbar remote control. Volume is controlled by our TV remote. Audio controls plus DTS Tru-Volume and Audio Delay are also available on-screen in the settings menu of the TV. Sound is crisp and clear with a pleasant bass sound, with a hint of sub-bass notes (the “good neighbor” factor!)We love listening to music and playing it through the soundbar using the onscreen Spotify app is so easy that even my wife can do it! Plus any Bluetooth audio source pairs easily and sounds great as well.In conclusion we are very pleased with this soundbar unit and we highly recommend it. It’s not high powered and it probably won’t fill a large room or man cave with crushing sound, but it is perfect for us. Put Fire with Fire and you have a winner!

Nice All in One soundbar !!
This is a really nice all in one soundbar ! Very clear dialogue . Plenty of bass for movie viewing . Decent soundfield for a soundbar. I am using this in a large open room . sitting about 11 feet away from bar and there is plenty of volume for movies ,news or whatever. Will not shake the walls but action scenes and explosions are good . Cabinet is plain but nicely finished and does not look cheap . Bass , treble and dialogue controls actually make a difference ! Would be nice to have an indicator light that stayed on when bar was off or powered on but this is a small complaint. Voice assist that tells you you are changing settings can be turned off which is great and then just pay attention to the indicator lights when you make adjustments .I cant speak to atmos performance as I do not have top tier netflix or prime and I do not have a DVD player connected . Overall VERY happy with my purchase and would by another if needed . I feel it is well priced for what you get . Clear voices,a lot more clear bass than expected and looks good hanging on the wall. Using HDMI . It is almost exactly the same length as a 43 inch TV . tv is 38 bar is 37 so it looks good for my application .I think most people will be happy with this bar . I believe the separation and bass are on par or better than the 2 more expensive bars that this gets compared to and it is lots less expensive. This review is for the Soundbar plus all in one without external sub . Easy setup ,sounds good ,looks nice and priced well !

Well I thought that I could use a little more umpff from my TV in my bedroom and have long thought about getting a soundbar. So considering I use a firestick for all my programming and not being too familiar with the home theatre these days, I decided on this soundbar plus. I figured that there would be zero compatibility issues because they were both Amazon products.Setup was very easy and the devices easily recognized each other and I was like ” That’s it?” So easy to set up just by following the on screen prompts of the firestick.Sound wise it’s definitely noticeable especially with dialogue and movies are much more immersive and with the built in subwoofer, you can feel the difference. Overall I am quite satisfied with the purchase as it was on sale. The only anomaly that I notice is that when the program changes to a commercial or whatever show, at the very beginning of each new segment it’s like the sound is louder but then the soundbar adjusts itself and then it maintains the level. But a new commercial and same thing happens. Will look into this deeper at some point if it bothers me.Also the firestick remote instantly connected to the soundbar and that was great. That is one of the reasons I went for this soundbar and it was flawless. So for those reasons I’m in!👍 ✨

Preliminary use indicates the soundbar produces audio enhancement compared with a previously used Dolby Digital soundbar, when used with Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby 5.1 and DTS Master Audio 5.0. While the sound is not highly spatial due to my set up, it is richly detailed and powerful. The bass level is very adequate for a small space. Excellent for music playback, with excellent clarity to voices too. So far, very good indeed, thank you very much. Good value too, and easy to install.

It’s a very good product overall, just hope they integrate alexa into it, or just make it compatible with home theatre via a firmware update or something, for a more immersive experience, I have 2 echo speakers around my sofa and can’t use them with the soundbar at the same time to watch a movie or Netflix, it only supports MRM not home theatre.Otherwise, if you didn’t already invest in other speakers, this soundbar quality is so worth, easy to setup nothing complicated.
